Shaloma Gauthier completed her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Toronto. In 2008, she obtained a Master degree in International Studies with a specialization in International History and Politics at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at this graduate institute in Geneva. 

 

Her interests include the effectiveness of the mandate system under the League of Nations, the United Nations trusteeship system, state-building initiatives by the United Nations, humanitarian intervention and international peacekeeping.
